Curro Bankenveld’s top achievers celebrated

The school awarded academic achievers and celebrated talented learners.

Curro Bankenveld recently held its much-anticipated awards ceremony for the academic achievements of its learners.

The Top 5 were awarded with certificates and badges for outstanding academic achievements on Monday, July 24.

The Grade 8 Top 5, from back left: Hlengwa Noni Naledi, Pedri Van Staden, Dolamo Sebako Mologadi, Lian Van Heerden and Daniel Timothy Grant.

The school also celebrated talented learners who participated in Curro Create, the all-girls choir, and hockey boys who were selected to play further.

A learner who will represent South Africa in Miami for his passion and achievements in karate was recognised by the school, as well as the Land Service learners who were selected to attend provincially.

Johandré Bezuidenhout, Tiyisani Nyakane, and Tshepang Melato have been selected to represent Curro Bankenveld Land Service Club at the National Camp in December at Blyde Adventure Camp in Hoedspruit.

Curro Bankenveld Grade 12 learners received their invites to this year’s matric dance.
