Four medals for Nkangala in cross-country interprovincial championships

The Academy will host a cross-country league at Tshwane University of Technology, Emalahleni campus on Saturday, August 5.

Nkangala Athletic Academy claimed four medals, two gold and two bronze in the cross-country interprovincial championship hosted by Athletic Limpopo Athletics.

The championships were held at the Ben Viljoen High School in Groblersdal on Saturday, July 22.

Jetro Sithole 35+ and Motlatsi Sesing 40+ claimed gold medals while Emmanuel Mabaso 40+ and Hope Matshiya in the junior category won a bronze medal in the 8km race.

“It was a great test of strength before the South African Championship, Jetro and Emmanuel defended their title won in 2022, in gold and bronze respectively,” said Emmanuel Mabaso.

Nkangala Athletic Academy will host a cross-country league race at Tshwane University of Technology, Emalahleni campus on Saturday, August 5.
