Zane Meas challenges men to embrace fatherhood and leadership

Known for his television roles, the fatherhood advocate shared biblical guidance and personal insights during the men’s breakfast.

Actor, author, and fatherhood advocate Zane Meas urged men to embrace their role as family leaders during a men’s breakfast at AGS Neo Doxa in Bankenveld on Saturday.

The gathering brought together men from the community for a morning focused on fatherhood, faith and the role of men within the family.

Through scripture, personal testimony and practical encouragement, Meas shared a message aimed at equipping men to become stronger leaders in their homes and communities.

One of the scriptures he shared was from the Gospel of John, where Jesus declares: “Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”

He encouraged the men to allow God’s presence to guide their lives so that they can positively influence those around them.

Promoting family values

Known for his roles in television productions such as Isidingo, 7de Laan and Scandal, Meas has also become widely respected for his work promoting fatherhood and family values through initiatives such as the Fatherhood Foundation of South Africa.

During his address, Meas encouraged attendees to take their responsibility as fathers and spiritual leaders seriously, reminding them that positive change in society often begins at home.

He highlighted the importance of faith, integrity and presence in the lives of their families.

Building ongoing fellowship

According to Ursula de Lange of the church, the breakfast was designed to bring together men who want to make a difference in the world while advancing the Kingdom of God through their daily lives and actions.

The event also served as a platform for fellowship, allowing men to connect, learn from one another and grow in their faith journey.

She said the vision is to host the gathering every quarter, creating ongoing opportunities to encourage and equip men to fulfil their purpose.
