Fantasyland 2015

BRACE yourself for nights of magic at this year’s Fantasyland dance showcase.

The much anticipated event on 10, 11 and 12 December at the Empangeni Civic Centre, will have a special touch this year as the performance will feature children from iKhaya LikaBaba orphanage.

‘Dance Academy provided the boys and girls of iKhaya with lessons twice a week and we have decided to have them participate in our year-end show.’ said event organiser Kim van der Merwe.

‘We are incredibly proud of their talents and ability to overcome adversity,

‘Dance is an excellent form of exercise. It encourages children to be creative and boosts self confidence. Dance teaches children to push themselves individually as well as to encourage and motivate each other in their group classes.

‘Fantasyland is the highlight of the pupils’ year as they get to display their hard work throughout the year.

Costs for the barnyard style evening are R100 per person (tables of 10 or theatre seats) or R120 per tier.
