Farmers Food and Craft Market
FOLLOWING the successful launch of the Farmers Food and Craft Market in Fairlie Road, eShowe, Lydia Strauss is gearing up for the next event this Saturday.
Among the permanent fixed stalls, the farm kitchen will be serving, among others, a proper farmhouse breakfast, homemade rusks, freshly baked breads, tarts, vetkoek and other treats.
At the ‘braai meraai’ stall braai packs, ‘babelaas’ and cheese wors, ‘pap en sous’, biltong and dry wors will be on offer.
For that someone special there is the Mpushini Falls Gift Shop.
Stallholders
Anyone wishing to participate in the market with other items of crafts and produce such as milk products, candles, herbal teas, jewellery, sunhats or wooden toys are free to contact Lydia Strauss on 082 5798563 or e-mail mpushinifallsresort@telkomsa.net.
All items must be handmade or fresh produce.
The 3mx3m stalls cost R50 each and include standing space and electricity.
Stallholders need to bring their own gazebo, chairs, tables and electric cable.
The market will open at 9am and close at 2pm.
Market dates for the rest of the year are 7 November and 5 December.
