A TODDLER, who claims to be Gwenzi Rorke, was found helplessly wandering on a beach in Richards Bay on New Year’s day. He was taken to the Richards Bay police station by a couple who found him while he was desperately searching for his parents.
The boy, who is estimated to be around four-years-old, is currently under the supervision of Community Policing Forum member Sharon Mdletshe at the trauma room at the Richards Bay police station.
The only information gathered from the little boy is that his mums’ name is Thuli and his brothers are Troy and Devona.
He also said his dad’s name is ‘daddy’ and that he teaches him at the crèche.
Mdletshe expressed great concern as she is shocked the parents have not yet contacted the police about their missing child.
‘I have contacted all the stations in our area and the child has not yet been reported missing.
‘He is a lovely young child who has behaved very well since last night.
‘I am horrified by the fact that these parents could allow the child out of their sight during the busiest period at the beach. Where are the parents?’ she said.
If you know this child or the parents contact Sharon Mdletshe on 083 8723384.
