Craft ‘Imbizo’ not to be missed

Go along to a crafty experience in eShowe

IMBIZO! Vukani Zulu Cultural Museum announces that on Thursday 23 January, a large number of crafters will again converge on the Nongqayi Museum Village in eShowe to display and sell their work.

People are invited to browse and buy the top quality work at competitive prices.

As was arranged last year, buyers will obtain a list from the organisers, on which they will record all their purchases as they pay the individual crafters directly.

At the end of the day, the list is handed to the organisers, who add a 15% commission, which can be paid immediately in cash, or later by EFT.

An invoice will be supplied for bookkeeping purposes.

Prior arrangements can be made to buy through Vukani Museum.

The imbizo is open to everyone whether you are private or institutional collectors, casual buyers, museums, galleries, curio shops or tourists.

The crafters have been requested to bring a range of goods that should appeal to every pocket, from small trade items to collector’s pieces.
