THE two men who callously murdered Dutch missionary, Riet Vuijk (68) at uBombo two years ago were sentenced to life imprisonment at Mtubatuba High Court a short while ago.
Leonard Gina (45) and Sandile Ngwenya (23) were convicted on all four counts; robbery with aggravating circumstances, kidnapping, murder and the unlawful possession of a prohibited firearm.
The defence put in an application for an appeal which Judge van Zyl dismissed.
