THE case of Siphamandla Muhle Mabika (26), was postponed owing to the absence of an autopsy report at eSikhawini Regional Magistrate’s Court on Friday
Mabika is the main suspect in connection with the murder of his girlfriend’s six-year-old son, Thabiso Makhoba.
During court proceedings, the devastated mother, Nonhlanhlam Makhoba broke down in tears. She told the Zululand Observer that the on-going court case has overwhelmed her.
‘Many thoughts came to me when I saw him. I cannot believe the man that I loved could hurt me this way.’
On Friday, the defense lawyer informed the court that the autopsy report had not been issued by the doctor.
Mabika remains in custody until the court resumes this Friday.
