No arrests in Birdswood body mystery

DETECTIVES are piecing together the final movements of Birdswood resident Pierre de Lange (44), whose partially clothed body was discovered in the back of his hired Nissan X-Trail on Monday evening.

Meanwhile, close friends have described De Lange, who had been in ill health of late, as ‘an outgoing, giving person who loved socialising’.

Church friends and associates have rallied to support his wife, Bernadette and their two adult sons, Chad and Lee.

A memorial service will be conducted at the Outlook Church in Birdswood at 11am on Friday (call 035 7861968 for details).
