Shave or spray for a worthy cause

BECOME part of a life-changing event this weekend as CANSA hosts its 12th annual Shavathon.

Bring along family members, friends or colleagues to shave or spray your hair in solidarity with cancer survivors this Saturday at the following venues:

•Boardwalk Inkwazi (Opposite House and Home)

•Meerensee Mall

•5 Ways Link Pharmacy

•Andrews Spar Link Pharmacy

•Oppie Hawe (small craft Harbour)

•Eshowe Mall.

Adults can shave or spray their head for a donation of R50 (or more) and children under 12 for R25.

Volunteers will be equipped to deal with those wanting to donate their ponytails to be used to make wigs for patients undergoing chemotherapy.

Remember that your hair must be 25cm or longer, clean and dry. Treated or dyed hair may also be donated.
