Empangeni collision leaves 3 people injured

Early morning crash leaves three people injured in Empangeni

Three people were seriously injured in a collision that occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning.

It is reported that a Toyota Corolla had broken down along the R34 just before the 5Five Ways Mall, where it was rear-ended by a BMW, which led to both vehicles veering off the road.

Three people sustained serious injuries and were transported to Ngwelezana Hospital, while three others were uninjured.

One lane was temporarily obstructed as emergency services worked to clear the scene.
