THREE men were arrested yesterday in connection with the armed robbery at Monzi Cash Store last month.
The robbery, which occurred just after opening on 15 April, was captured by the store’s CCTV cameras, which clearly showed the suspects’ unmasked faces.
The store owner was forced, at gunpoint, into the office where the suspects demanded he open the safe and threatened to shoot him if he did not comply.
They stabbed him in the arm and made off with R14 000. They were arrested not far from the area on Sunday and will appear at Mtubatuba Magistrate’s Court tomorrow (Tuesday).
