Body exhumed from grave in Melmoth

The man was buried by hijackers, in a grave on top of another person.

THE Melmoth SAPS together with the forensic experts exhumed the body of Sipho Mkhwanazi from a grave in the Melmoth cemetery.

Investigations showed that Mkhwanazi was buried in a grave on top of another person, by his hijackers.
Police received this surprising information from a man they arrested on Tuesday, 23 May.

Siboniso Mese Dludla (27) confessed to a Melmoth magistrate on Friday, 29 May that he and three other men had hijacked Mkwanazi in March.

They killed him and dug up a used grave and buried Mkwanazi on top of the deceased.

Dludla was due to appear in the Melmoth Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
The other three suspects are still at large.
