Motorists face small fuel price hike

Fuel prices are set to increase by six cents a litre from midnight tonight

WEAKENING oil prices have cushioned motorists from a bigger increase in fuel prices, experts say.

Retail petrol prices will increase by 6 cents a litre from midnight tonight.

According to the Department of Energy, diesel and paraffin will decrease by 62c and 79c a litre respectively due to a global oversupply.

LPG gas will increase by 1c a kilogram.
