Petition calls for American rapper Snoop Dogg to narrate Planet Earth

THERE is a strong possibility Discovery Channel’s ‘Planet Earth’ will be taking a more modern twist after a petition by Change.org to have famous rapper Snoop Dogg narrate an entire season has gone viral.

With more than 45 000 signatures since its creation two weeks ago, the petition began gaining attention after Snoop himself retweeted it on Twitter.

The idea to have Snoop narrate Planet Earth stems from a recurring segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live called ‘Plizzanet Earth’ where the 44-year-old rapper commentates on episodes of the show.

The petition’s creator Kelly Oorton said that this is a huge development and they plan to keep it going.

‘Thank you guys for all your support, and big thanks to Snoop Dogg himself!’ said Kelly.
