A march of passion to unite in Christ
'This year the Passion March will be even bigger with more local churches and congregants joining.'
PASTORS and Christian leaders from various ministries around Zululand launched the Passion March 2016 in Empangeni on Thursday.
The Passion March is set to take place on Friday, 25 March.
It was started four years ago by pastors Kevin and Nisha Naidoo.
It highlights the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and focuses on the meaning of Good Friday and Easter.
‘This year the Passion March will be even bigger with more local churches and congregants joining. The streets will come alive with a new sound of a drum line, accompanied with a procession depicting the crucifixion of Jesus Christ followed by floats and people carrying banners and wearing colourful T-shirts,’ said Naidoo.
The event will commence at 12.30pm at the Old Mutual Building in Empangeni.
It will conclude with live drama and praise and worship at the Sanlam Centre.
