The incident occurred at about 6pm at the child’s home in Ngodini, near Ezibayeni.
According to police reports, the 17-year-old sister of the child heard a noise and when she went outside to investigate, found the wall had collapsed and fallen onto her young sister.
She pulled her sister out from under the rubble and rushed her inside the house where an ambulance was called.
