EX-RADIO personality Phindi Gule trotted through Empangeni this morning (Thursday) on her way to Richards Bay on her 900km fund-raising initiative run.
The 41-year-old decided to run from Kosi Bay to Port Edward to raise funds for the Liv Foundation.
Gule completes 30km every day and has already completed 25km for the day by the time she passed the Zululand Observer offices on Thursday morning.
When she passed the Empangeni Prison earlier in the day on Day 14, she reached the 400km mark of her journey.
Husband Kevin Burley joined her at the beginning of the cause, but was forced to pull out on Wednesday owing to a stress fracture in his shin.
Gule aims to complete her mega run by 30 April and has raised R20 000 thus far.
