Husband punches gynae
A Richards Bay man has done something every husband has pictured himself doing at least once.
AFTER he smacked a gynaecologist following what has been described as a ‘misunderstanding’ between the doctor and his wife, a 33-year-old man is facing an assault charge.
While the nature of the confusion is unclear, a police source confirmed a case was opened by Dr Steve Wellman after he was hit in the face during an appointment with his attackers’ wife on 28 April.
The husband appeared in the Empangeni Magistrate’s Court on Thursday while his next court date is still to be confirmed.
