Richards Bay community in shock over the sudden death of an icon

Freddie Horn had a good standing in the Richards Bay community and will be sorely missed

THE Meerensee community is in a state of shock and sadness after the sudden passing of Freddie Horn, a legend in the small community.

He was coaching at his boxing club earlier this evening (Monday) when he suddenly collapsed.

Despite good bystander CPR, advanced life support intervention  and great teamwork between Meditrax and Netcare, he succumbed to a heart attack.

‘Freddie was a colleague who I had the honour of working with for the past 22 years, a legend who will be sorely missed among our community,’ said Meditrax Ambulance Service’s Tracy Coertse.

‘Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family.’
