eSikhaleni fire station nears completion

There is relief regarding the near completion of eSikhaleni Fire Station

THE eSikhaleni fire station should soon be operational.

uMhlatuze Municipality Communications Manager Mdu Ncalane said 93% of the building has been completed.

Progress on the facility was delayed owing to issues with the appointed contractor, but according to the city these are now a thing of the past.

The municipality has spent in excess of R16-million on the state-of-the-art fire station, which will improve response times to eSikhaleni communities.
