15 years imprisonment for 29 – year-old eShowe murderer

A 29-year-old eShowe murder accused was convicted and sentenced to 15 years imprisonment in the eShowe Regional Court last week.

Malusi Xulu was accused of killing Xolani Ntuli (35) in December.

The court heard that on the day of the incident, Xulu, together with Ntuli and their friends, were drinking at a neighbour’s homestead in uMlalazi.

An argument broke out, leading to a fist fight. Xulu than pulled a knife and stabbed Ntuli seven times.

He was rushed to hospital but died on arrival.
