ESIKHALENI-born DJ Sthembiso Ntuli is on a mission to bring the timeless sounds of soul and R&B to Sunday music lovers across Zululand.

The Empangeni-based soul and R&B DJ and radio personality has carved out a niche for himself through his deep love for music that connects with the heart and tells a story.

Known for his smooth transitions, carefully curated playlists and emotionally charged sets, Ntuli creates an atmosphere where every song feels like a memory.

From classic 90s R&B anthems to modern soul and neo-soul, he brings warmth, class and authentic soulful vibes to the dance floor.

His passion for soul and R&B began in the late 1990s, when he developed a love for radio and started listening closely to stations such as Metro FM.

For Ntuli, his Sunday sessions are about more than simply playing music. They are about creating an experience and bringing people together through timeless sounds.

“I want to promote love and life through this genre of music in Zululand every Sunday afternoon. I strictly play soul and R&B – no commercial clutter, just soul,” said Ntuli.

He is currently a resident DJ at Esibayeni Lifestyle and The Nineteen Country Club in Empangeni, and has eight years of experience in radio.

With his sights set firmly on growing the soul and R&B scene in the region, Ntuli says his ultimate ambition is to become a household name in the music business.
