Taxi driver and girlfriend gunned down in eSikhaleni

Police appeal for witnesses with information which may lead to an arrest

MADLANKALA community members have expressed their shock after a well known eSikhaleni taxi driver and his girlfriend were gunned down last week.

The sound of gunshots echoed across the valley last Monday night, and the bodies of Nkanyiso Masinga (26) and Ayanda Gumede were found with several gunshot wounds on Tuesday.

A linked double murder case was opened at eSikhawini SAPS.

Police requested the community to come forward with any information which might lead to the capture of the perpetrators.
