The secret of creamy mashed potatoes is to cook the potatoes whole and only chop it once it’s cooked.

Cook the potatoes for 10 minutes.

Add soft butter (not melted) and mix this with hot milk. Mix this into your potatoes and then whip it up with a mixer to get a smooth texture.

Only add salt and herbs, like parsley or chives, once the potatoes are mashed.
