Employment opportunities at planned RBIDZ Palm Oil Refinery

Job seekers urged to register on database

PUBLIC NOTICE: Employment opportunities for the upcoming construction of a Palm Oil Refinery
at the Richards Bay Industrial Development Zone Company Soc LTD (RBIDZ).

Wilmar Processing SA (Pty) Ltd, a company set to establish a palm oil processing facility involving the refining and processing of edible oils for consumption, will be commencing construction at the Richards Bay Industrial Development Zone Company SOC LTD (RBIDZ) Phase 1A estate in Richards Bay.

This project is aligned with the RBIDZ’s mandate of developing the Special Economic Zone in order to attract domestic and foreign direct investments, create production capacity, facilitate the provision of services to prospective investors, stimulate economic growth and inclusive economic  participation through the creation of employment and skills development opportunities.

The RBIDZ working collaboratively with the provincial Department of Labour (DoL) urges potential job seekers who reside within a 50km radius of the City of uMhlathuze, to register as  active job seekers at their nearest Labour Centre for inclusion on the DoL database.

The DoL database is a central government employment creation means which will be utilised by prospective investors through the RBIDZ for recruitment purposes and sourcing of required skills  for the construction and operation phase of the plant.

Job seekers have an option to register manually at their nearest Labour Centre or online on the  Department of Labour Employment Services of South Africa: https://essa.labour.gov.za/ EssaOnline/ or alternatively register their profile on the RBIDZ employment portal at
https://rbidz.jb.skillsmapafrica.com/ ensuring that all particulars and relevant attachments are  furnished as automated on the system.
