Division of Revenue Bill 2020 available for comment

Interested parties are invited to comment on the Division of Revenue Bill 2020 [B3-2020]

The Portfolio Committee on Finance of the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature hereby informs all stakeholders and interested parties of the publication of the Division of Revenue Bill, 2020 [B3-2020] for comment.

The Division of Revenue Bill, 2020 [B3-2020] seeks to provide for the equitable division of revenue raised nationally among the national, provincial and local spheres of government for the 2020/21 financial year; the determination of each province’s equitable share and allocations to provinces, local government and municipalities from national government’s equitable share; and the responsibilities of all three spheres pursuant to such division and allocations; and to provide for matters connected therewith.

The Bill is available on the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature website

www.kznlegislature.gov.za and the Treasury website www.treasury.gov.za.

All interested parties are hereby invited to submit comments on the Division of Revenue, 2020 [B3-2020] to the Portfolio Committee on Finance using one of the methods listed below.
