Although Level 4 lockdown is winding down, officials continue to set up roadblocks in eShowe and surrounds

UMLALAZI municipal officials encourage residents to continue adhering to government lockdown regulations.

Although Level 4 lockdown is winding down, officials continue to set up roadblocks in eShowe to ensure people comply with the rules.

Working with various law enforcement agencies, officials inspected private vehicles and public transportation, ensuring passengers were wearing their face masks.

They also earlier in the month visited social grant payout points to assist the elderly and to ensure everyone maintained social distancing.
