CRIME prevention patrols in Meerensee and Richards Bay CBD on Tuesday morning led to the confiscation of cigarettes and dagga near the LAC Centre and at Taxi City.

A suspect was apprehended at the vendor stalls outside the Meerensee centre, and charged with contravention of the lockdown regulations and illegal sale of cigarettes, while another man was arrested at Taxi City for dealing in dagga.
