uMfolozi Municipality closes offices for Covid-19 testing

People who visited the municipality in the past three weeks should monitor for flu-like symptoms

THE uMfolozi Municipality announced today (Monday) that its offices have been closed with immediate effect as staff have to undergo Covid-19 testing.

Members of the public who visited the municipality over the last three weeks have been advised to monitor themselves for flu-like symptoms.

Should they show any symptoms, they should self-isolate for 14 days and get tested.

They are also urged to contact TV Xulu on 083 7212935 or Philani Khumalo on 079 9314843.

The offices will be disinfected until Thursday.

Essential services staff will continue working throughout this period.
