Covid-19: Temporary closure of Mtubatuba municipal offices
The offices have been closed for sanitisation after positive cases among staff members
MTUBATUBA Municipality has temporarily closed all its offices owing to Covid-19 cases.
The decision was taken after a councillor and municipal employee tested positive for coronavirus.

Municipal Manager Siyabonga Ntuli said the offices would be closed from today (Monday) until Wednesday, subject to further assessment.
‘We have embarked on processes to comply with all Covid-19 protocols in dealing with positive cases in a workplace.
‘This includes disinfecting and fumigation of the building.
‘We value the lives of our employees and the public. Closing the municipal offices is a temporary arrangement that seeks to protect the lives of all local residents.
‘The municipality has put in place all precautionary measures to secure the safety of all employees during this period.
‘We will endeavour to render basic services during these trying times,’ he said.
