Empangeni and Richards Bay Post Office branches reopen

THE post offices in the Empangeni and Richards Bay central business districts have been reopened following the completion of a sanitation process.

The two branches were closed earlier this week owing to confirmed positive Covid-19 cases and were scheduled for reopening on Friday, but SA Post Office spokesperson in KwaZulu-Natal, Nobuhle Njapha, said the branches are now ready to render services to the public.

‘We had positive cases in the branches and had to sanitise the premises before reopening as per the mandatory Covid-19 protocols,’ Njapha said.
