Owner Nathany Randall explains that the salon has fully adapted to the ‘new normal’ and strictly adheres to Covid-19 protocols.

The salon is big enough to allow for social distancing of 3 metres, as opposed to the required 1.5m, and there is a large patio to accommodate clients who prefer to enjoy the sunshine while waiting for their turn.

All surfaces and equipment are regularly sterilised – before clients arrive in the morning, and also after every client. The salon makes use of 70% alcohol based sanitiser to make sure everything is properly disinfected.

The wearing of face masks is strictly enforced, and staff at Bellissima wear face shields and gloves as added protection. Everyone who enters the salon – including clients and all staff – are screened, with the measuring of their temperature and completion of a questionnaire.
