Covid-19 campaign taken to Melmoth
This comes as Covid-19 infections continue to rise within the King Cetshwayo district
KING Cetshwayo district health officials continued their Covid-19 campaign in Melmoth last week.
Beginning in Ngwelezana earlier this month, the aim is to create awareness around health and safety protocols as well as promote adherence to disaster management regulations.

The team, which included KZN Government Communication and Information System (GCIS) officials and Mthonjaneni Mayor Sibonginkosi Biyela, encouraged residents to play their part in containing the spread of the virus.
This comes as Covid-19 infections continue to rise within the district. King Cetshwayo has recorded more than 8 500 positive cases and more than 160 deaths. The recovery rate is currently more than 4 900.
The district has the third-highest number of cases in the province and has been reporting a median of 195 cases, from 266 cases daily, a month ago.
