Systems down at Richards Bay licensing centre

The Richards Bay Civic Centre is affected, but Empangeni remains operational

THE eNatis system used by licensing centres across KZN is down, affecting some offices in the province, including the Richards Bay Civic Centre.

The Empangeni licensing centre, however, remains operational.

According to the City of uMhlathuze, the problem is being attended to by the provincial Department of Transport.

There is no time frame as to the duration of the fault.

This comes as many members of the public whose vehicle licences expired during lockdown attempt to renew before the Monday cut-off of the extension period.
