Many professionals have a 'work spouse'
Have you ever called your spouse by your colleague’s name, or perhaps called your boss by your wife’s or husband’s name?
Well, you are not alone.

Accidentally misnaming someone seems to make no sense, but a study published in the journal Memory and Cognition has found otherwise.
According to research, with most colleagues spending 8 hours or more together every working day, work relationships develop their own unique dynamic.
Because we spend more time at work than anywhere else and often stay connected with colleagues even when we aren’t at the office – through email, text and social media – research has shown nearly half of all professionals have or have had a ‘work spouse’ without even realising it.
In a survey conducted by Totaljobs.com, a staggering 65% said they thought a lot of people already had a ‘work wife’ or ‘work husband’.
Research shows that spending about eight hours every day, five days a week, in each other’s company, we sometimes know our work colleagues better than our partners.
