Appeal for help locating missing people

Esikhaleni SAPS is appealing for assistance in locating two missing people, Rooi Mjadu (65) of Port Durnford area, and Hlengiwe Gamede (22) of Mkhobosa Reserve.

According to police spokesperson, Captain Thembinkosi Mkhumane, Mjadu went missing on Sunday, 20 September.

‘His family said they last saw him in his bedroom on that night, but on the following day, he was nowhere to be found,’ said Mkhumane.

‘They said he had previously lived in Macekane area, and they have looked for him everywhere, without luck.’

The second missing person, Hlengiwe Gamede, has been missing since September 2014, and her family is desperate for any information related to her disappearance or current whereabouts.

‘Gamede was last seen by her guardian going to Ntabeni Secondary School, in Ndimandima area, outside eSikhaleni,’ he explained.
