The social cluster delegation to the handover was led by Human Settlements and Public Works MEC, Peggy Nkonyeni.
She was accompanied by the MEC for Agriculture and Rural Development, Bongiwe Sithole-Moloi, MEC for Arts, Culture Sport and Recreation, Hlengiwe Mavimbela, MEC for Social Development, Nonhlanhla Khoza and MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison, Bheki Ntuli.
As per the Memorandum of Understanding between these departments, Sithole Moloi also handed over agricultural and garden implements to beneficiaries as part of the One Home, One Garden programme.
The Human Settlements department handed over a composite title deed to the Mtubatuba Municipality for a 47-hectare farm in the Nkodibe area, while the Department of Sport and Recreation handed over sport kits to local sport teams in ward 10.
