eShowe SAPS seek missing child

The child has been missing since 29 August

ZABELO Lungelo Nala (6) of Nduduzeli area in Ekombe has not been seen since he was herding cattle on 29 August.

eShowe Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences officers have opened a missing persons case and are appealing to any members of the public who may have information.

According to the police report, Nala had been herding cattle in the mountains with other boys when they came across a pack of hunting dogs.

Nala ran in the direction of his homestead while the other boys remained with the cattle.

When they arrived at home, he was not there and during a subsequent search of the mountains where they were herding cattle, he could not be found.

‘We appeal to anyone with information on Zabelo’s whereabouts to contact Detective Sergeant Sifiso Mpungose on 079 6963440/ 035 4730022 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111,’ said KZN SAPS spokesperson, Colonel Thembeka Mbhele.
