Tame home draw for Richards Bay FC

Defences dominated and all looked lost when NRB conceded from a poorly defended throw-in as the stopwatch reached 90 minutes

FAILING to make the most of many chances, Richards Bay had to dig deep to snatch a late 1-1 draw with Royal AM at the uMhlathuze Stadium this afternoon.

Defenses dominated and all looked lost when NRB conceded from a poorly defended throw-in as the stopwatch reached 90 minutes.

They had been denied a clear second-half handball penalty and justice was done when substitute Sibonginhlanhla headed home a free-kick cross well into added time.

Once again the Bay boys failed to assert themselves on their home patch and lost the chance to climb to a top-four place on the NFD ladder.
