NKANDLA police appeal to members of the community to assist them in locating missing persons Samukelisiwe Promise Madlala (33) and her daughter Aphiwe Melwayinkosi (12), who were both last seen on Tuesday, 24 November at the Nkandla Taxi Rank.

‘A relative, who noticed what she thought was the unusual behaviour of Samukelisiwe, followed her to the taxi rank where she noticed her and her daughter boarding a taxi destined for Gauteng. She immediately went to the Nkandla police station to report the matter.

Aphiwe Melwayinkosi went missing together with her mother

‘Police were taken to the taxi, but on their arrival, she and her daughter were no longer there. That was the last time they were seen,’ said Mbhele.

‘Samukelisiwe was wearing a black skirt and a maroon jersey. She is dark in complexion with Afro hair. We urge anyone who might have information on her whereabouts to contact the investigating officer, Sergeant Mondli Dlamini on 082 975 7731 or the Crime Stop number 08600 10111.’
