Mayor Nonhle Mkhulisi passed away on Wednesday night

THE Zululand Observer has learned with great sadness that King Cetshwayo District Mayor Nonhle Mkhulisi passed away last night (Wednesday).

She had been in hospital since 31 December.

The news was confirmed this morning by District Municipal Communications Manager Vusi Mahaye.

A statement will be issued later today by the district municipality.

The Zululand Observer management expresses its deepest condolences to the family of Mkhulisi.
