Passengers survive KwaDlangezwa taxi accident

At around 1 pm, emergency personnel was called to the scene after the minibus travelling from Gingindlovu to Empangeni lost control and plunged down an embankment after striking the pavement and road railing

SEVEN passengers were seriously injured while eight, including a toddler, escaped with minor scratches when the taxi in which they were travelling lost control at the KwaDlangezwa traffic circle yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon.

At around 1 pm, emergency personnel was called to the scene after the minibus travelling from Gingindlovu to Empangeni lost control and plunged down an embankment after striking the pavement and road railing.

Jaws of Life had to be used to remove passengers from the wreck, and the injured were transported to the hospital for medical attention. There have been no reported fatalities.
