A case of murder was opened for investigation at Mondlo police station

Mondlo SAPS is appealing for community assistance in locating the relatives of an unknown man whose body was discovered in Madresini on 5 February.

Zululand Cluster Police spokesperson, Captain Nkosie Gwala said the body of the man, who is believed to be in his thirties, was found naked, with signs of assault.

‘A preliminary investigation indicates that the deceased was not killed in the area, but that his body was dumped there,’ said Gwala.

‘The deceased is dark in complexion, of slender build, with a small beard and short hair. A case of murder was opened for investigation at Mondlo police station.’

Anyone with information about his next of kin is urged to contact the investigating officer, Detective Nkosi on 079 7965950 or 034 3267100, or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
