‘Siyakhuleka’ single stands against GBV

Richards Bay musician and digital promoter Thokozani 'Shakes' Ngema launched his new single, 'Siyakhuleka'

IT was at a Durban venue packed with Zululanders that Richards Bay musician and digital promoter Thokozani ‘Shakes’ Ngema launched his new single, ‘Siyakhuleka’ on Sunday.

The song is a prayer opposing violence against women and children, and calls for unity in fighting the crime wave which continues to eat away at many communities.

Over the years, Shakes has continuously used his talent to spread positive messages.

He also established various campaigns such as Boys to Men and Empangeni Men’s Conference, both of which provide men with a platform to discuss their issues and find resolutions to how they can be part of the fight against women abuse.
