City of uMhlathuze’s Senior Manager resigns

The Municipal Manager Lulamile Mapholoba, received Sabelo Hlela’s official letter of resignation.

The City of uMhlathuze has confirmed the resignation of Deputy Municipal Manager: Infrastructure and Technical Services, Sabelo Hlela.

The Municipal Manager Lulamile Mapholoba, received Hlela’s official letter of resignation.

Mapholoba will table the matter before the next scheduled Executive Committee (EXCO) and Full-Council for further consideration and processing.

“Employment and resignation or any form of removal of Section 56 personnel is subjected to Council processes and Exco and Full-Council are only structures authorised to process such matters and take resolution which will be communicated further,” Mapholoba said.

The Council will determine the last working day for Mr Hlela.
