Rob has called on the Zululand community to help the organisation complete its building projects and fill its cupboards with much-needed food supplies.

The centre, which offers a daycare facility for working mothers and guardians with toddlers, also has a separate place of safety, providing shelter and a home to children in need.

Rob said while being back home only for a few days in Zululand, he was blessed to take a trip to Mzingazi with Richards Bay SAPS Captain Debbie Ferreira to learn more about the centre, its needs and how the community could come on board to help.

‘It was truly an experience to spend time with children who have nothing materially, but still have so much love in their hearts.

‘The children are from diverse backgrounds and they are together because they do not have a home, yet they have found a home with each other. ‘Before we entered the premises, we watched them playing and laughing with each other and they have come to build such a sense of family.

‘The House of Grace has done so much with so little and they need some serious help.

‘We are making an appeal to the community to offer this centre a helping hand to complete the building structures they have started, as well as with any other resources or supplies of groceries as they provide meals for the children too.

‘It is our responsibility as a community to help build up these young children who will be young adults in a few years,’ said Rob. Anyone who would like to donate can contact Precious Khoza on 060 7778744.
