Principal V Moodley said pupils who do not bring lunch to school can visit the feeding scheme and enjoy their meals at the seating area provided.

‘Our cooks go the extra mile by showing the learners much care and attention, chatting with them and extending a kind word and a warm welcome.

‘We want children to feel free to visit the kitchen and it is our aim to ensure that no child goes hungry at school.

‘As we are a multi-cultural school, we engaged with the department so we can prepare a range of different meals to cater for everyone.

‘Surplus meals are prepared as takeaway packs and given to the children identified as orphans and vulnerable children to take home for their families as well,’ said Moodley.
