SEVERE weather including thunderstorms are forecast for the northern parts of KZN from this (Wednesday) afternoon, drifting eastward and affecting the north-eastern parts until tomorrow morning, with possible heavy downpours leading to localised flooding.
The South African Weather Service (SAWS) issued a warning ahead of the severe weather, which is expected to damage infrastructure in informal settlements and rural areas, as well as cause flooding of low-lying bridges, and make roads wet and slippery for travel.
